Bilaspur
In the Himachal Pradesh district of Bilaspur, a horrific incidence has been reported. A child suffered serious injuries when a pencil got into his eye on his way home from school. After being taken to the nearby hospital right away, the infant was sent to IGMC Shimla for more care.
The incident took place in the Jhanduta subdivision’s Baiharan village. Baiharan resident Baldev Singh informed the police that his grandson Gaurav Kaundal, age 8, had left for school. He said that a youngster from the same hamlet had unintentionally stuck a crude wooden pencil in his left eye as he was playing when he got home at approximately 3:30 pm. Gaurav’s eye began to bleed, and he began to moan in agony instantly.
He was taken right away by his family to the Ghumarwin hospital, from whence he was transferred to the Bilaspur regional hospital. Doctors in Bilaspur alerted the police and administered first aid. Gaurav’s injuries was deemed critical by the physicians after a medical assessment. He was sent to IGMC Shimla for treatment when it was determined that his condition was serious.
The police began investigating this incident as soon as they acquired information about it. According to DSP Bilaspur Madan Dhiman, the Jhanduta police station has received a case. To determine the true reason of the tragedy, the police are looking into the situation. This incident highlights the importance of parental vigilance and poses significant concerns about children’s safety.
