The Department of Environment, Science Technology & Climate Change, in collaboration with the Education Department and HIMCOSTE organised a Painting and Sloganwriting Competition at GSSS Portmore on 25th May. The competition is divided into two zones wherein 15 schools of zone 1 have participated at GSSS Portmore, whereas zone 2 schools will be participating at GSSS Chhota Shimla on 26th May. By engaging the young minds through art and slogans, the event aims to instil a sense of environmental consciousness and responsibility among the youth. It provides them with a platform to express their ideas, creativity, and concerns for the environment.
