The new OPD brings scheduled multi‑speciality consultations from Paras Health’s 2,000‑plus‑bed network closer to the community, enabling early diagnosis and continuity of care in a region with growing healthcare demand*
Pinjore, December 20, 2025: Paras Health Panchkula has launched its Health Clinic OPD at Shree Jee Healthcare, Pinjore, in a strategic move to decentralise high-quality specialist medical care and make it accessible to communities that previously needed to travel long distances for expert consultations. The clinic launch underscores Paras Health’s mission of bringing advanced specialist care closer to the community and enhancing the healthcare ecosystem in Pinjore and surrounding areas.
India continues to face significant challenges in equitable access to specialised healthcare despite national improvements in workforce metrics. While the overall doctor‑to‑population ratio in the country is approximately 1:811, surpassing the World Health Organization benchmark of 1:1,000, disparities remain stark between urban centres and semi‑urban or rural regions where specialist availability is limited and primary health facilities often lack advanced services. Only a small fraction of specialist doctors practise outside major cities, contributing to persistent gaps in early diagnosis and continuity of care for millions of patients seeking complex treatment closer to home. Broader healthcare infrastructure needs are highlighted by national goals to add an estimated three million additional hospital beds and over 1.5 million doctors by 2030 to meet growing demand, underscoring the importance of decentralised specialist services such as the new Paras Health Clinic in Pinjore.
At the launch, senior specialists from the Paras Health network provided free multi‑speciality consultations, OPD evaluations, and surgical guidance, offering local patients an opportunity for direct interaction with experts without the need to travel to larger cities. The roster of specialists included Dr. Anand Jindal, Associate Director – Orthopedics and robotic joint replacement surgery, Dr. Ishaan Allahabadi, Senior Consultant – Surgical Oncology and Robotic Surgeon; Dr. Amber Aggarwal, Senior Consultant – Gynaecology; Dr. Raghav Mehan, Senior Consultant – ENT; and Dr. Karan Dang, Consultant – Cardiology, demonstrating a broad spectrum of clinical expertise now accessible locally.
Speaking at the event, Dr. Pankaj Mittal, Facility Director, Paras Health, Panchkula, said, “Specialised care often remains clustered in large cities, forcing patients from towns like Pinjore to face long journeys for critical consultations and follow‑ups. By bringing expert specialists to this community, we are enabling early intervention, reducing delays in diagnosis, and creating a care pathway that is patient‑centric and locally rooted. This clinic is not just about convenience; it is about improving health outcomes and reducing the barriers to advanced care.”
He added, “Our integrated approach allows patients to begin their healthcare journey here in Pinjore, with the confidence that expert guidance, continuity of care, and, when needed, referral to advanced facilities are part of a seamless patient experience.”
The Paras Health Clinic OPD will provide scheduled specialist access on designated days, enabling continuity of care, early diagnosis, guided treatment options, and seamless referral pathways for advanced procedures. Patients who require further intervention will be evaluated at the clinic and, where necessary, connected to Paras Health’s tertiary care centres for further treatment, ensuring a continuum of care from initial consultation through specialised treatment.
This launch reinforces Paras Health’s longer‑term commitment to addressing gaps in specialist healthcare access in underserved regions of North India by extending its comprehensive network and tailored services closer to where patients live, underscoring a strategic shift toward community‑centric healthcare delivery.
