Meeting held to review FCA matters

Deputy Commissioner Mukesh Repaswal said that officers of all concerned departments should ensure coordination based activities to expedite the process of FCA (Forest Conservation Act) permission cases under various developmental projects. The Deputy Commissioner was chairing a meeting today to review the progress of permission cases related to various developmental projects being implemented in Forest Division Churah under FCA.
The Deputy Commissioner directed the Deputy Director Higher Education to prepare permission cases under FRA (Forest Rights Act) for construction of buildings of educational institutions.
He said that all concerned departmental officers should work with mutual coordination and transparency and make efforts towards resolving pending cases on priority basis. He instructed the officials to ensure speedy resolution of cases in which objections are pending and to complete the necessary documents in time. He informed that under various projects, 25 cases uploaded on Parivesh-1 and 5 on Parivesh-2 are in the process for approval.
Forest Divisional Officer Sushil Guleria, Deputy Director Higher Education Vikas Mahajan, Executive Engineer Public Works Joginder Sharma and Assistant Engineer Sanjeev Atri were present in the meeting.
