Pickup Vehicle Overturns on Salooni–Himgiri Road Amid Snowfall, All Passengers Safe

A major accident was narrowly avoided on the Salooni–Himgiri road in Chamba district during heavy snowfall. The incident occurred near Daliyund Nali, where a pickup vehicle lost control on the snow-covered, slippery road and overturned.
Several people were travelling in the vehicle at the time of the accident. Fortunately, all passengers were safe and no serious injuries were reported. Traffic on the route remained disrupted for some time after the vehicle overturned.
Local residents quickly reached the spot, helped the passengers come out safely, and informed the administration. Police and concerned department officials arrived soon after and inspected the situation.
The administration has advised drivers to remain extra cautious during snowfall, drive at a slow speed in hilly areas, carry necessary safety equipment, and check weather and road conditions before travelling.
