Education Minister Rohit Thakur said that through cultural programmes, children get opportunities to hone their talents and also get opportunities to know the culture of their country.
Rohit Thakur today attended the cultural programme organised by Pinegrove School, Dharampur in Kasauli Assembly Constituency on the occasion of its annual function.
The Education Minister said that the school has now emerged as a prestigious educational institution not only in the region but also in the country. He said that the institution is ensuring the all-round development of its students.
Rohit Thakur said that education is the basis of a better future and the state government is making comprehensive changes in the field of education so that students can benefit at every level.
The Education Minister said that the current government is organizing exposure visits to international educational institutions for teachers and students. The aim is to bring about a comprehensive change in the quality of education.
Kasauli MLA Vinod Sultanpuri said that Pinegrove School is one of the best schools in the country and its students are performing excellently in every field.
Captain AJ Singh, Executive Director of Pinegrove School, welcomed the Education Minister and other dignitaries and gave detailed information about the school.
On this occasion, colourful cultural programmes were presented by school students.
