Solan, July 7
The V-Empower team, led by Payal Jindal Khanna, organised a plantation drive on Wednesday to recognise and honour all the coaches who have helped students of Shoolini University grow and become empowered through coaching.
On the occasion, a total of 115 saplings were planted on the Shoolini campus as a way to thank the International Coaching Federation Coaches who contributed to the project of making coaching available to college students at an early stage in life.
The choice of tree was Koelreuteria paniculata, also known as the Golden-rain tree. The enduring gift of a tree is synonymous with the everlasting blessing of the lifelong empowerment that a student receives from their Coach.
The perseverance and commitment of the Coaches during their collaboration with Shoolini University as part of the V-Empower Project gave Vice-Chancellor Atul Khosla’s initiative wings to reach higher platforms and a diverse audience, Khanna said.
