• Himachal’s NSS students visited Parliament, Union Minister Mansukh Mandaviya was present
Shimla, Former state president of BJP and MP Suresh Kashyap said that today students of National Service Scheme (NSS) from many colleges of Shimla parliamentary constituency visited the Parliament of India. Union Labor and Employment Minister Mansukh Mandaviya was specially present in this visit and also interacted with the students from Himachal. He said that as is known, NSS is a program run by the Government of India, which aims to develop the personality and character of the students by involving them in community service.
On this occasion, Suresh Kashyap said that in the 10 years of the government led by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, more than 17 crore youth have got jobs and employment, whereas in the 10 years of the UPA government, this figure was only 3 crore. Under the Vikasit Bharat Rojgar Yojana, there is a plan to create more than four crore jobs in five years. Four crore jobs will be created in the coming few years.
In the last 10 years, employment was created for the youth under the leadership of PM Modi. In the last 16 months alone, more than 11 lakh youth were provided employment through employment fairs. In the 10-year tenure of the UPA government, only 3 crore jobs were created. But according to the assessment of the Reserve Bank, in the last 10 years under the government led by Prime Minister Modi, more than 17 crore youth got jobs and employment.
Kashyap said that I am happy that employment generation in the agricultural sector of the country has increased to 19 percent which was in negative situation during the previous Congress government. Under the Modi government, 15 percent employment has been generated in the manufacturing sector and 36 percent employment is being generated in the service sector.
