The Bilaspur district’s Ghumarvi police have made significant progress in their continuing war on narcotics. 12.60 grams of chitta were found by the police squad in a car close to the Baloh toll plaza. In this instance, the police have arrested the motorist, filed a complaint against him, and initiated additional legal proceedings.
According to the information, Head Constable Ashu Verma, Constable Rakesh Kumar, Rajesh Kumar and Babu Ram in the police team had done a blockade near Baloh toll plaza last night. During this, the team stopped the suspicious vehicle for investigation and this drug was recovered from it. The accused has been identified as Sahil Kumar (25) son of Lal Chand, resident of village and post office Bhangrotu, Tehsil Balh and District Mandi.
DSP Ghumarvi Chandrapal Singh confirmed the case and said that the police campaign against drug smuggling is continuing and no accused will be spared. He said that strict action will be taken in such cases to save the youth from the quagmire of drugs.
