Bilaspur, Himachal Pradesh:
Panic spread in a village of Bilaspur district after the body of a 19-year-old student was found hanging on Saturday.
The incident occurred in Gram Panchayat Kalol under Jhandutta subdivision. The deceased has been identified as Gaurav (19), son of Subhash Chand, a resident of village and post office Kachhehra, Tehsil Jai Singhpur in Kangra district.
Gaurav was a sixth-semester Electrical Engineering student at Kalol Polytechnic College. He had been living in a rented accommodation near the college.
Upon receiving information, police reached the spot and took the body into custody. A case has been registered, and further investigation is underway to ascertain the cause of death.
