District Election Officer Shimla Anupam Kashyap has directed all the Block Development Officers of the district to complete the process of generating draft electoral roll by 27 September 2025.
The District Election Officer said that the State Election Commission has set some instructions and time limit for preparing the draft electoral roll through ERMS software. This work will be done at the district level and block level.
As per the deadline set by the State Election Commission, the deadline has been set to do the mapping of the section through block user by 22 August 2025, verification of Electoral Part 2 by 8 September, electoral mapping of Part 2 by 17 September, printing the preview copy of the draft electoral roll by 19 September, organizing a special Gram Sabha from 20 September to 26 September and transferring the phase from work to draft by 27 September 2025.
The District Election Officer has directed all the Block Development Officers and Sub Divisional Magistrates Dodra Kwar to work according to the deadline set by the State Election Commission before 27 September. Along with this, to play an active role in the updating of the electoral roll, all the Panchayat Secretaries should get training from the resource person before 10 August who has received training of ERMS software at PRTI Mashobra.
