‘Pride of Peacock is Glory of India’ pictorial artwork was presented to the Chief Minister

Chief Minister Sukhwinder Singh Sukhu was presented with ‘Pride of Peacock is Glory of India’ by former Additional Advocate General of Punjab and renowned writer, environmentalist, nature artist Harpreet Sandhu at his official residence today with the aim of emphasizing the need for the unbreakable bond of man with nature. Presented a pictorial artwork of peacock, the symbol of India’s national bird.
In this important picture, the national bird peacock has been beautifully depicted. Acknowledging the pictorial art highlighting the theme ‘Pride of Peacock is Glory of India’, the Chief Minister appreciated the efforts undertaken by Harpreet Sandhu in compiling this artwork depicting the national bird of India. He said that there is a need to popularize its beauty. While giving this message he said how lucky we are that peacock is the national bird of our India. The main objective of these efforts is to raise awareness and implement measures to protect the peacock’s natural habitats so that future generations can see the aesthetic splendor of the national bird.
