Public Works Department purchased Bolero Campers through Gem Portal, with the help of these vehicles departmental work will be expedited
Public Works and Urban Development Minister Vikramaditya Singh on Tuesday flagged off 35 Bolero Campers purchased from Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd. All these vehicles are Bolero Campers purchased from M/s Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd. through GEM (Government e-Marketplace) portal for Himachal Pradesh Public Works Department.
Vikramaditya Singh said that with the help of these vehicles, departmental work will be accelerated. Along with this, this is an important effort towards increasing access to remote areas and effectively completing disaster management and inspection work.
He said, “These vehicles will facilitate the department’s engineers and inspection teams to reach the ground level and will improve the speed and quality of departmental work. This purchase has been made through a transparent and economical process through the Gem portal, which reflects the government’s commitment to Digital India and good governance.
Senior officers of the Public Works Department, engineers, representatives of Mahindra & Mahindra Limited and other dignitaries were also present in the program.
