Shimla Summer Festival organized from 01 to 05 June
Shimla Summer Festival 2025 is going to organized from 01 to 05 June 2025. The Punjabi, Bollywood and local artists will allure to the people with their performances.
Deputy Commissioner and Chairman Shimla Summer Festival Committee Anupam Kashyap said that various activities will be organized during shimla summer Festival.
The main attraction will be Punjabi singer Akhil who will rock the final evening of Shimla summer festival.
In the first cultural evening, Bollywood playback singer Nidhi Rastogi will perform. Similarly, the second evening will be a Hasya Kavi Sammelan in which Arun Jaimini, Surendra Sharma, Chirag Jain, Shambhu Chaudhary, Ved Prakash and Dr. Sita Sagar will make people laugh with their humorous poems. He said that the third evening is being organized as Himachali evening in which Pahadi singers Honey Negi and Geeta Bhardwaj will perform. In the fourth cultural evening, Firdaus Band and Indian Idol fame Kumar Sahil will entertain the people. Similarly, in the fifth and final cultural evening, Indian Idol fame Neha Dixit, Voice of Shimla winner Anjali Nanak and famous Punjabi singer Akhil will perform.
Artists from 3 states will also participate in NZCC Patiala
He informed that cultural teams from 3 states will also perform from North Zone Cultural Centre, Patiala which will include teams from Haryana, Punjab and Jammu and Kashmir. Apart from this, 2 bands and local cultural teams will also entertain the people in front of the police reporting room and in the amphitheater in the fair area.
Activities will be organized on the theme of Drive Against Drugs and Beti Bachao Beti Padhao
The Deputy Commissioner informed that Shimla Summer Festival is being organised on the theme of Drive Against Drugs and Beti Bachao Beti Padhao Abhiyan. In this series, Mahanati will be organised in front of the Police Reporting Room every day from 01 to 05 June at 3 pm and a table tennis competition will be organised for the students of all the schools of the district in Indira Gandhi Sports Complex, in which school students of remote areas Kupvi and Dodra-Kwar will also participate. Apart from this, flower show, baby show etc. will also be organised during Shimla Summer Festival. He informed that during this period, competitions like debate, essay writing, slogan writing etc. will also be organised in schools.
