“I am immensely thankful to Chief Minister Thakur Singh Sukhu-led State Government for starting this Scheme. It has brought shift in the perspective of the orphans as they now know that State was our Guardian, our mother and father,” Rajina told the Chief Minister as she met him during a ‘Sarkar Gaon Ke Dwar’ program held in Bijhri, Hamirpur.
Crediting the Chief Minister for this revolutionary scheme, Rajina stated that “no one had before thought of such an idea in the history of the country, which has filled the vacuum of parents, in the lives of the orphans” .
She added that it was with the blessings of the Chief Minister that she was pursuing her studies in the B.Ed. Earlier we were considered as a burden and no one wanted to take responsibility of an orphan, but now we feel secured and loved, and our needs were being taken care of by the State Government.
Rajina said that she receives her financial benefits regularly and added that she was happy to spend now from her own and meeting out daily needs from the pocket money she was getting.
