One month long international quiz competition Q?riosity 2021 came to an end on Tuesday with a grand finale
After one rapid fire and 5 rounds of tie breakers, Subhra Sahoo of Indraprastha International School in New Delhi bagged the first place, while Laavanya of Queen’s Valley School in New Delhi, Rishi Goswami of St. Augustine’s Day School in West Bengal, and Jinay Jhawar of Laxmipat Singhania School in Rajasthan tied for second place.
The competition was jointly hosted by Ideas That Matter, Shoolini’s outreach team and Faculty of Management Sciences and Liberal Arts (FMSLA). Over 400 schools with more than 35,000 students across the globe participated in Q?riosity 2021, making it the largest international quiz competition for school students.
Dr Kuldeep Rojhe, Professor, Shoolini University introduced the guest of honour Mr. Vivek Atray, Ex-IAS Officer, Chairman of Yogananda Centre for Theology, Shoolini University. Mr. Atray in his address said that “we should give time and importance to every big and small thing in our life and should focus on our inner happiness”. He also encouraged the participants to read different books.
The quiz master for the day Professor Atul Khosla, Vice-Chancellor, Shoolini University took the quiz. While talking with the participants, Prof. Khosla said that “if you ever need any help with education, Shoolini is always there to help you”.
Ms. Avnee Khosla, Trustee and Vice President, Shoolini University announced the winners and congratulated them. She also said that “hopefully we will have an offline quiz in Q?riosity 2022 with more schools and students participating than this time”.
