Quarterly internal inspection of EVMs and VVPATs

As per the instructions of the Election Commission, quarterly internal inspection of Electronic Voting Machine (EVM) and Voter Verified Paper Audit Trail (VVPAT) storage room was conducted here today.
This inspection was conducted today in the storage room located at Kathed in Solan in the presence of Deputy Commissioner Solan Manmohan Sharma and representatives of various political parties.
Shiv Dutt Thakur, Kanchan Rana of Indian National Congress, Chandrakant Sharma and Vijay Thakur of Bharatiya Janata Party, Naib Tehsildar Election Diwan Singh Thakur were present on the occasion.
