Junga, India – August 7, 2025 – The Rotary Club of Shimla (RCS) Hill Queens, in a successful partnership with the 1st Himachal Pradesh Armed Police (HPAP) Battalion, Junga, held its first blood donation camp of the 2025-26 Rotary year. The event coincided with the 1st HPAP Battalion’s 54th Raising Day celebrations.
The initiative received enthusiastic support from all participants, resulting in a significant turnout of donors. The camp was made possible with the invaluable help of Rotarian Maala Singh and the expert medical team from the Blood Bank at Kamla Nehru Hospital (KNH), led by Dr. Kanchan Singh.
“This collaborative effort highlights the power of community partnership,” said Puja Goyal, a representative of the RCS Hill Queens. “We are deeply grateful to everyone who contributed to making this event a resounding success, from our fellow Rotarians to the dedicated team at the 1st HPAP Battalion.”
A number of RCS Hill Queens members were present to support the drive, including Rtn Maala Singh, Rtn Tarna Kaushal, Rtn Vipin Gupta, Rtn Ruchira Tangri, Rtn Samriti Sehgal, Rtn Geeta Kapoor, Rtn Manjusha Pathania, Rtn Neelam Gupta, Rtn Surbhi Karol, Rtn Gurpreet Kaur Sondh, Rtn Harpreet K Sembi, Rtn Rimmi Ahuja, Rtn Shivani Thakur Doger, and Rtn Puja Goyal.
