Food Supply Corporation has finalised the tender for refined oil. Below Poverty Line (BPL) ration consumers of Himachal Pradesh will get refined oil by Rs 11 and Above Poverty Line (APL) by Rs 13 cheaper from March.
In Financial Bid, the lowest rate has been of Adani Company at Rs 131.91. On this, the state government will give a subsidy.
This was informed by Food, Civil and Consumer Affairs Minister Rajendra Garg.
APL consumers will get refined oil at Rs 122, while poor families will get it at Rs 104.
Presently, APL consumers are being given refined oil for Rs 135 at the depot and Rs 115 per litre to BPL.
After February 25, the Adani company will start the supply of refined oil and the Consumers will start getting it from March.
There are 19.20 lakh ration cardholder families in Himachal Pradesh. Out of these, there are about 11 lakh APL, 6 lakh BPL and other income tax-paying families.
