• Congress had demanded a rebate of Rs 7 lakh in income tax but Prime Minister Narendra Modi gave a rebate of Rs 12.50 lakh.
Shimla, BJP State President Dr. Rajiv Bindal attended the GST Thanksgiving Conference organized by the Shimla Assembly Constituency as the chief guest. He was accompanied by candidate Sanjay Sood, State General Secretary Payal, State Secretary Sanjay Thakur, Kamal Sood, Karan Nanda, Keshav Chauhan, Rajiv Pandit, Sanjeev Pinku, Gagan Lakhanpal, Sanjeev Deshta, Gurmeet Singh, Rama Thakur, and Sudip Mahajan.
Dr. Rajeev Bindal while addressing the conference said Shimla is the capital and the heart of Himachal. This place is the biggest business hub of Himachal, in the past if there was a one paisa increase in tax then the entire Himachal Pradesh would resonate from Shimla. He said that the reform in GST is the biggest reform since independence till date. There were more than 400 items in the 12% tax slab, out of which 90% items have come in the 5% and 10% items in the zero percent tax slab. He said that even small vehicles have got a big rebate, today the dreams of every person are getting fulfilled in Himachal Pradesh.
Bindal said that the changes in GST will put 250,000 crore rupees into the public’s pockets every year. This will further strengthen the country’s economy and the entire business world will also now be in trend. Modi magic works in India and in any crisis, Modi magic works rapidly and takes India to new heights. Even during Covid, Prime Minister Narendra Modi gave a package of 10 lakh crore rupees to all departments for development and India became the fastest recovering economy in the country.
He said that Congress had demanded a rebate of ₹7 lakh on income tax, but Prime Minister Narendra Modi granted a rebate of ₹12.5 lakh. Congress only deals in the business of feeding people empty-handed sweets, cheating young women traders and farmers. Today, one lakh jobs have disappeared in the state, and only various cronies are being installed in the government. During the Congress regime, barriers and corruption went hand in hand, when money was taken from freight trains at every barrier through corrupt means. Today, Modi has ended this corruption as well.
