Revenue Minister Jagat Singh Negi informed here today that the “Revenue Lok Adalats” organized in the state were proving beneficial for the people of the State as thousands of mutation and partition cases were being settled through it.
He said that Revenue Lok Adalats were organized across the state on 4th & 5th January, 2024, in which 24,091 cases both of mutation and partition were disposed of that included 20,547 cases of mutation. A record 3,544 partition cases were disposed of from 03-12-2023 to 05-01-2024 which is a record in itself in one month. A total of 1,823 new partition cases registered in various revenue courts in December, 2023. Apart from this 3,544 cases of partition were disposed off till 5th January, which is about 200 per cent of the total 1823 constituted cases.
“The state government will continue to organize Revenue Lok Adalats from time to time in future as well so as the revenue matters of the general public can be settled in a time bound manner” reiterated the Revenue Minister.
