PNB Circle Head Neeraj Kumar Anand appealed to women to take advantage of loan schemes
Hamirpur 30 July. The training camp organized by Punjab National Bank Rural Self Employment Training Institute (RSET) for the women of village Changar of Tehsil Hamirpur concluded on Wednesday. In this camp, 27 women of the village were given training in making paper covers and envelopes etc.
On the closing occasion, the head of the circle office of Punjab National Bank Neeraj Kumar Anand while guiding the women said that after getting training through RSETI, women can run their own enterprise or business at home. For this, they should take advantage of various loan and subsidy schemes of banks. RSETI officials can also help women who want to set up their own enterprise in getting loans from banks. Neeraj Kumar Anand said that by running their own enterprise or business, women can not only increase their income but can also ensure a secure future for the coming generation. He said that by preparing environment friendly products like paper covers and envelopes, women can also contribute to environmental protection.
On this occasion, while welcoming the chief guest, other guests, officials and participating women of the camp, Director of ARSETI, Ajay Kumar Katana also provided information about the various activities and achievements of the institute.
Camp evaluators Somdutt Sharma and Harbans Lal, financial literacy advisor GC Bhatti, IAS faculty member Sanjay Harnot and other officers and employees of the institute were also present in the program.
