Shimla
The annual prize distribution ceremony was organized today at Government College, Chail Koti, in which Rural Development and Panchayati Raj Minister Aniruddha Singh participated as the chief guests.
He told me that last year, Himachal Pradesh Chief Minister Thakur Sukhwinder Singh Sukhu announced that from next year, integrated B.Ed classes will be started in this college so that students do not have to go to Shimla. He said that with the opening of this college, students of nearby areas are getting education at their doorstep.
He requested the principal start classes in the vacant rooms of the college from the next session so that proper building facilities can be made available to the students.
Furthermore, he directed the Jal Shakti Department to install 20 pipes for providing drinking water to the college so that the students can get proper drinking water facilities. He urged us to install water-purifying RO in the college so that clean drinking water can be made available. Apart from this, he also gave approval to purchase a projector and music system for the college.
The Rural Development Minister urged the children to focus on their studies, work hard, and bring glory to their home and parents.
