Teachers and staff at Himachal Pradesh University (HPU) did not receive their salaries on schedule this time around either. The employees’ salaries have once again been postponed following the last months of March and May. Employees are upset about not receiving their salaries on schedule. They have called for a firm plan to ensure that the wage is paid on schedule.
Teachers and staff waited all day and into the evening on Saturday for their salaries. The authorities were also informed that the compensation will be disbursed shortly during the conversation. Although the salary is normally issued on the first of the month, this time around it was delayed, and as a result, the instructors and staff are getting ready to bring up the issue with higher authorities. It is regrettable that the wage is not being given on time, according to former General Secretary Kuldeep Thakur and former Non-Teaching Employees Union President Kuldeep Kumar. He stated that a front will be established by speaking out against the salary’s non-release if it is not disclosed by Monday.
It is being informed that it can take some time for the wage to be issued because the funding that was supposed to be granted to the institution has not yet arrived. Teachers and other staff members protested the salary delay by staging a sit-in on the university campus in March and May. In the meanwhile, the teachers and staff had insisted that their salaries be paid on the first of each month. The pay release has now been delayed once more.
