People urged to take advantage of welfare schemes
Arki MLA Sanjay Awasthi formally inaugurated and observed the developmental exhibitions organised by various departments at the state level Sair Mahotsav.
Sanjay Awasthi urged the people present on the occasion to get information about the various welfare schemes and projects being implemented by the government along with the fair from the exhibitions and take maximum benefit of them.
On this occasion, exhibitions were organised by Horticulture, Agriculture, Health and Family Welfare, Social Justice and Empowerment, AYUSH, Labour and Employment, Forest Department and Self Help Groups. An exhibition related to disaster management was also organised by Home Guard.
On this occasion, a baby show was organized by the Health and Family Welfare Department and free TB testing was done.
Various sports competitions are also being organized on this occasion. These include Kabaddi, Badminton, Tug of War for women and men and Volleyball for men.
On this occasion, under the Nutrition Campaign by the Women and Child Development Department, the ceremony of Annaprashan for the children and the baby shower for the pregnant women was also performed by the chief guest.
Cultural programmes were also presented by the children on this occasion.
