The Education Department has issued instructions to schools for the annual registration of Scout and Guide units. These instructions have been issued by the Director of Education. In this episode, District Shimla has also instructed all government and private schools for annual registration of Scout and Guide units. As per the guidelines laid down by District Deputy Director Higher Lekh Raj Bhardwaj, schools have been asked to ensure annual registration of Scout and Guide units.
Its objective is to promote the values of discipline, leadership, and community service among students. From this year, it has been made mandatory for all high and senior secondary schools of District Shimla to ensure annual registration of Scout and Guide units in their respective schools. In such a situation, all school heads have been asked to comply with the instructions.
