Hamirpur: A painful road accident occurred on Shimla-Mataur National Highway in Tikkar Bazaar of Hamirpur. Here a scooter rider died after being hit by an uncontrolled car. The deceased has been identified as 60-year-old Dhaloti Bohani, resident of Sher Singh. According to the information, the speeding car first hit the scooter and then hit another car as well. The video of this entire accident was captured in the CCTV camera installed there, which is now going viral on social media.
According to eyewitnesses, Sher Singh was traveling on a scooter. When he reached Tikkar Bazaar, a speeding vehicle coming from Hamirpur first hit his scooter and then collided with another vehicle. The collision was so strong that the scooter rider fell on the road and got seriously injured. The people present at the spot immediately picked up the injured from the road and took him to the Medical College, Hamirpur. After investigation, the doctors declared him dead. The people traveling in the other car suffered minor injuries.
After receiving information about the accident, a police team immediately reached the spot and started investigation. A case has been registered against the car driver in Sadar police station Hamirpur. Police have handed over the body of the scooty rider to the family members after conducting post-mortem
