Under the joint aegis of the Department of Language and Culture, Himachal Pradesh, and the Himachal Art, Culture, and Language Academy, the Himachal Art, Culture, and Language Academy, the poetry collection “Pahad Mein Prarthana” (Pahad Mein Prarthana) written by Dr. Prashant Raman Ravi was formally released in Chamba, the district headquarters. Rakesh Kanwar, Secretary to the Chief Minister of Himachal Pradesh and Secretary of the Departments of Language, Art, Culture, Education, Information and Public Relations, and Energy, attended the event as the chief guest, while Padmashree Vijay Sharma, a prominent social activist from Chamba, attended the event as the special guest. Several speakers, including Professor Chandrakant of Kendriya Vidyalaya Dharamshala, poet and writer Ajay, Assistant Professor (Hindi) Snehdeep, and Dr. Satyanarayan Snehi, shared their views on various topics related to Dr. Prashant Raman Ravi’s newly released poetry collection, “Pahad Mein Prarthana.” In his address, Rakesh Kanwar praised Dr. Prashant Raman Ravi’s efforts to educate and sensitize society through his poetry collection, “Pahad Mein Prarthana.” On this occasion, Rakesh Kanwar interacted with students from various educational institutions and provided them with valuable information about the importance of education and its various aspects. In the program, many students asked the chief guest many questions about their career and the rich culture of the state, to which detailed answers were given by Secretary Rakesh Kanwar.
The event was inaugurated with the lighting of a lamp by the chief guest. The stage was moderated by Kusum Sanghaik, Deputy Director of the Language and Culture Department, and Jagjit Azad, Principal of the Government Senior Secondary School, Balera, while the vote of thanks was presented by Bhanu Gupta, Joint Director of the Department.
On this occasion, Assistant Director of the Language and Culture Department Sunita Thakur, retired Deputy Director Vidyasagar, Dr Prashant Raman Ravi and District Language Officer Tukesh Sharma, along with many other dignitaries, were also present.
Secretary Education Department Rakesh Kanwar released the poetry collection written by Dr Prashant Raman Ravi.
