Governor Shiv Pratap Shukla today reached Captain Vijayant Thapar Government Girls Senior Secondary School at Arki in Solan district and listened to Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s “Pariksha Pe Charcha” program with the students here virtually.
On the occasion, the Governor appealed to the students to always remember the guidance given by the Prime Minister to achieve success in examinations and life, as it will give them the strength to face challenges in adverse circumstances, said Sh. Shukla.
The Governor said that results could be achieved in life only through self-confidence and will-power. He said that self-confidence was the key to achieve difficult goals in life and students should always work with patience and courage. He urged them to use technology wisely and not let social media dominate their daily life and exhorted the parents to always maintain coordination with their children.
Sh. Shukla said that only continuous hard work and self-confidence instill enthusiasm and excitement in the lives of youth. He expressed hope that through today’s “Pariksha Pe Charcha” program the students would have got answers to their questions.
Deputy Commissioner, Manmohan Sharma, Superintendent of Police, Gaurav Singh, Sub Divisional Officer Arki, Yadvinder Pal, Deputy Director Higher Education, Jagdish Negi, Principal, Late Captain Vijayant Thapar Government Girls Senior Secondary School, Bimla Verma, teachers and students were also present amongst others.
