Solan
A meeting was organised by various senior citizen organisations of the district under the aegis of HelpAge India today. The meeting was chaired by Manoj Verma of HelpAge India.
Manoj Verma said that it was unanimously decided in the meeting that Senior Citizens Day will be organized in Solan district on 21 August 2025. He provided detailed information about the program to be organized on the occasion of this day to all the people present.
Senior Citizen Forum President Ramesh Aggarwal, Senior Citizen Association President Dr. Pankaj Bhullar, Old Age Helpline Society President Shailendra Kanwar, General Secretary L.R. Negi, Himachal Pradesh State Electricity Board Pension Association member Shri Gupta, Lion Club Solan Valley President Dr. Ravikant Sood, Himachal Pradesh Pensioner Association J.J. Sharma, History Sankalp Yojana Samiti President Babu Lal Goyal, Dr. Y.S. Parmar Scientist Welfare Association Dr. T.D. Verma, Annapurna Seva Samiti member D.D. Sood, Anil Batra and other dignitaries were present in the meeting.
