To get e-KYC done for all 89210 social security pensioners of Shimla district through e-Kalyan mobile app, a special campaign is being run at district, tehsil, panchayat and local Anganwadi level through Anganwadi workers, in which the Aadhar card, date of birth, mobile number and complete address of all the pensioners are being verified by Anganwadi workers on the basis of latest information documents. This information was given by District Welfare Officer Shimla Kapil Sharma.
He has appealed to all the pensioners of the district that Indira Gandhi National Old Age Pension, Indira Gandhi National Widow Pension, Indira Gandhi National Disability Pension, Old Age Pension, Widow/Abandoned/Single Women Pension, Disability Relief Allowance, Leprosy Patient Allowance and Transgender pensioners, whose e-KYC has not been done, should ensure timely pension verification from the local Anganwadi worker along with the latest information of all their documents before 30th September, 2025, otherwise the non-verified pensioners may be excluded from the pension list on the new portal.
