The School of Liberal Arts at Shoolini University organised an engaging session titled “Making the Known Visible: An Exposition of the Act of Reading,” led by Prof. Tez Nath Dhar. The session provided students and faculty with a deep exploration of reading practices, drawing on over 50 years of Prof. Dhar’s experience.
The event began with an introduction by Prof. Nasser Dasht Peyma, who highlighted the opportunity for attendees to gain insights from an accomplished scholar. Prof. Dhar opened his talk with a thought-provoking question: “How do we read?” He shared perspectives rooted in his extensive reading and emphasised how his insights would benefit both students and teachers alike.
At the end of the session, Dr. Purnima Bali Associate Prof, and Head of the School expressed gratitude to Prof. Dhar for his enriching insights. The session concluded with a vote of thanks delivered by Hemant Sharma, Assistant Professor, School of Liberal Arts.
