A coaching learning session was organised by Shoolini University’s V-Empower programme on “Creating Your Personal Brand”. The speaker for the session was Coach Puja Mathur, an ICF Credentialed Coach.
She started the session with big brands that stand out with just their logos, Apple Inc. is known for its innovation, Mercedes-Benz stands for its luxury, and Nike stands for its athleticism. The values and faces of these brands are what set them apart from being mere names in the market.
Ms. Puja explained both positive and negative branding. Positive branding is what we aspire for and negative branding is what we need to overcome. Good positive branding highlights strengths, authenticity, and creates trust and uniqueness.
She further explained some actions that can help you create your personal brand through authenticity, consistency and niche carving. Who you are and what you stand for moulds your authenticity. Be consistent in telling, showing and reminding the world what you are. Find your niche and define your audience who look forward to you and connect to you. Branding is not just online, it is constant with every action of yours. You can have multiple brands that portray different facets of you with your best qualities, she added.
