The seven-day NSS camp concluded on Thursday at Government Excellent Senior Secondary School, Chiog. Head Gram Panchayat Chiyog Dinesh Jagta participated as the chief guest. He said that the National Service Scheme started in educational institutions is proving to be very meaningful in the all-round development of the students. Under this scheme, along with social service, children develop a sense of self-confidence, competition and patriotism. He called upon the students to serve the nation and society by being honest, truthful and loyal. In the camp, NSS volunteers learned skills related to self-employment. During the camp, the volunteers also took an oath to implement useful things in their daily lives. School Principal Sandeep Kumar Sharma expressed his gratitude to all the guests and all the teachers and other staff of the school for the successful conduct of the camp. He said that the dedication and determination with which the NSS volunteers worked in this camp in a disciplined manner is an example in itself. On this occasion, the function was made attractive by presenting colorful cultural programs by the volunteers.
