Shashi Kant Joshi joined as Director (Electrical) in Himachal Pradesh Power Corporation Ltd. Joshi is an electrical engineering graduate from Regional Engineering College Bhopal and has post graduation degree from University of Roorkee.
He possesses 35 years of working experience at various capacities in HPSEB Ltd. He joined HPSEB as Asstt. Engineer in 1985. He has worked in Nathpa Jhakri Hydro Electric Project for fourteen years.
He worked at Tala Hydro Electric Project in Bhutan for about six years. He was earlier posted as Chief Engineer, Commercial in H.P. State Electricity Board Ltd. He has been appointed on the post of Mahesh Sirkek who has been retired in month of January.
