The government has issued a notification to shift the headquarters of Himachal Pradesh Tourism Development Corporation (HPTDC) from Shimla to Dharamshala. This office will run in Dharamshala Hotel Kashmir House. It should be remembered that a few days ago, the government had not even mentioned giving the hotel where this new office has been shifted to private hands. The cabinet and the board of directors of the corporation have already approved the transfer of the office in the meeting. Now the zonal office will be in Shimla. This office has been running in a rented building in Shimla since 1972. There are about 75 officers and employees in the headquarters, who will go to Dharamshala. MD, GM, AGM and other staff will sit in Dharamshala itself.
