The district administration team inspected the places affected by heavy rains in the city. The team inspected Ramchandra Chowk and Krishna Nagar.
Due to the threat of landslide due to heavy rains in Krishna Nagar, 5 families were shifted to the community hall, while the district administration team also inspected the landslide incident at Ram Chandra Chowk.
Additional District Magistrate (Law and Order) Pankaj Sharma, SDM Urban Oshin Sharma and Tehsildar Apurv were present in the administration team.
Additional District Magistrate Law and Order Pankaj Sharma said that apart from this, debris fell at many places in the city and trees fell causing damage. A huge landslide has occurred once again at Ramchandra Chowk in Bainmore Ward. Due to the landslide, big trees reached the roof of the government building, although there is no loss of life in the incident. The houses have been evacuated in view of the danger posed to the nearby houses. Dangerous trees are being cut. Along with this, rescue work is going on at a rapid pace. Tarpaulin will be installed in the landslide affected area. He said that five families living in the buildings affected due to landslide in Krishna Nagar have been shifted to the community building of Krishna Nagar. Arrangements for their food and drink have been made.
