The Shimla-Nalagarh road has been blocked since morning near the Jadia Devi petrol pump, due to which many vehicles and buses are stuck. According to information received from the local head, traffic has been disrupted due to repeated debris falling on the road.
The administration and local teams are trying to restore the road as soon as possible. However, the work is being hampered due to continuous landslides. Passengers stranded since morning are facing a lot of trouble. Many passengers are looking for alternative routes to reach their destination, but no clear solution has been found yet.
Local residents say that the area is sensitive to landslides and such incidents are common during the rainy season.
