A case of molestation and indecent behaviour of an on-duty woman police constable has come to light in Shimla, Himachal Pradesh. Not only this, when the woman constable was on duty in the police gumti, the accused also tried to forcefully enter the gumti.
The woman constable has levelled these allegations against a constable of the police department. The case has been registered at the Simla police station. Both the woman constable and the accused are posted in a battalion of the police. An FIR has been registered against the accused on the complaint of the woman police officer. In her complaint to the police, the woman constable said that on October 25, when she was on quarter guard duty, a police official named Rajiv came to her and said obscene and indecent words.
When the accused objected to this, he did not relent. The victim said she was on duty during this time. When she went inside the gumti to escape from the accused, the accused also tried to forcefully enter the gumti. The police have registered a case under various sections of the Indian Penal Code. The accused has been arrested by the police.
