Solan, April 17
A cultural event ‘Unity in Diversity’ with students from the North East, representing the rich tapestry of Arunachal Pradesh, Meghalaya, Assam, Manipur, Mizoram, Tripura, Nagaland, and Sikkim, was organized by Dean Students Welfare Office at Shoolini University.
Students from these states came together to showcase their heritage and traditions in a cultural extravaganza at the Open Air Theater (OAT) University campus.
The Bihu dance, from Assamese culture, emerged as the highlight of the event, captivating the hearts of the spectators who found themselves irresistibly drawn to their feet, attempting to emulate the delicate and graceful movements of the performers.
Mrs. Poonam Nanda, Dean Student Welfare, said that the mosaic of diversity that adorns our campus is a testament to the inclusivity and acceptance that define the ethos of Shoolini University. Events such as these not only showcase the combination of different cultures but also serve as a reminder of the beauty that lies in unity amidst diversity.”
