Shoolini University has invited by Uttar Pradesh chief minister Yogi Adityanath to open a university in the state of Uttar Pradesh. The offer was made after founder and chancellor Prof. P. K. Khosla briefed the chief minister about the achievements of Shoolini University at the higher education conclave held in Lucknow.
Prof. Khosla was invited as a panelist at the higher education conclave called “UP for UP: Pradesh me Sthaniya Sansthano ka Prasar” exploring partnerships with private universities to expand in Uttar Pradesh. Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath was the chief guest at the conclave. The event was aimed at exploring partnerships between private universities in India and abroad with the aim of expanding the education sector in Uttar Pradesh.
Prof. Khosla was called by the chief minister after the conclave and he presented a case for establishing a university in the state focusing on ancient Indian wisdom. Prof. Atul Khosla, Vice Chancellor Shoolini University, also welcomed the offer and stated that a detailed plan would be submitted to the Uttar Pradesh government.
The Chancellor stated that the Uttar Pradesh government has responded positively to our proposal. Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath was also interested in our proposal to establish a research based university. He also stated that we are one of the best institutions in terms of global international data, and now we are working on the proposal and will submit the documents to the UP Government in a few days.
Shoolini University Vice Chancellor Prof. Atul Khosla advised universities to collaborate with each other so that the best practises followed by an institution can be adopted by others.
