Several new facilities launched on the campus

Shoolini University celebrated 75th Independence Day at the campus and organised various activities and launched various projects dedicated to the students. The flag hoisting ceremony was done by Chancellor Dr. P.K Khosla, Vice chancellor Prof. Atul Khosla and Trustees Mr Satish Anand, Mr. Ashok Anand and Guest of Honour Col. Vikram jeet Singh Panag.
Vice-Chancellor Prof Atul Khosla underlined the importance of networking in the field of education by each individual. He said each should mentor at least two or more and also help the under privileged individuals to gain moral support.
To encourage research, the University felicitated thirteen best researchers with the cash prizes. These were Prof Sunil Puri, Prof Anuradha Sourirajan , Prof. Kamal Dev Prof. Dinesh Kuma,r Dr. Pardeep Singh, Dr. Pankaj Raizada, Prof. Saurabh Kulshrestha, Dr. Rajesh Kumar, Dr. Rohit Goyal , Dr. Ashok Pathera, Dr. Gurjot Kaur, Dr. Somesh Sharma, Dr. Nitika Thakur.
On the occasion, the newly The refurbished Milkha Singh Sports Complex was thrown open with additional features, like Synthetic Olympic-standard badminton courts, world-class gym, aerobics, table tennis and wrestling. Along with this, an Engineering Gallery was inaugurated. The gallery is a tribute to the greatest Indian Engineer Bharat Ratna Mokshagundam Visvesvaraya. Committed to making education accessible to all, Shoolini University constantly strives for excellence and adds to the world-class infrastructure on the campus.
The MS Swaminathan School of Agriculture of Shoolini University dedicated the newly added facilities on its farms to the students and the farming community. The University emphasised on hands-on training to the students and new facilities like beekeeping, dairy and vermicomposting units, and organic farming unit have been added to the Crop Cafeteria of the School.
Another attraction of the ceremony was the release of book, Entomology – a basic manual, authored by Dr Amit Kumar, Dr Uma Shankar and Dr Ravinder Nath. The Manual was released by the by Rotarian Dr. Kailash Prashar, Mr. Satish Anand , Col Vikram jeet Singh Panag, Mrs Saroj Khosla and Prof PK Khosla and additional facilities Bajhol Farm were also inaugurated.
The spirited university students presented a cultural programme at the Open Air Theatre, emphasised the strength of secular India. Students from Arunachal Pradesh, Aasam, Manipur, Aandhra Pradesh and Punjab enthusiastically participated in the cultural events and represents their state’s cultural values. Along with this, kids at Shoolini crèche also participated in the recitation of Shalokas and patriotic poems. The National Cadet Corps (NCC) gave the guard of honor to all the dignitaries. All the cultural Programmes were organised by the Dean Students Welfare Mrs Poonam Nanda and Mr. Ankur Bashar anchored the whole event.
