Shoolini University’s much-awaited annual fest, Moksh, concluded with resounding success, showcasing talent and enthusiasm from participants and attendees.
The highlight of Moksh was the fiercely contested fashion show ramp walk competition, featuring 13 participants vying for the coveted titles of Mr. and Miss Moksh 2024. The event encompassed multi-disciplinary competitions, including Adikala, adding to the vibrancy of the festival.
The winners of Mr. Moksh were Ange from MBA and Sidhi from MSc Yoga, were felicitated by Mrs. Nishtha Shukla Anand and Mrs. Taruna Mehta, respectively, who were also the judges of the competition. Halisha from B.Tech Biotech was also recognised as the best performer. Their achievements were celebrated with trophies and prizes sponsored by Shoolini Merchandise.
In another Adikala’s inter-college competition, Degree College, Solan grabbed the first position in the Nati competition, with Green Hills College as the second runner-up and SILB as the first runner-up.
Individual competitions witnessed Ahana Nath, an M.A. Journalism student at Shoolini University, winning the singing competition, Sneha Tomar securing the folk art competition, and Denenson triumphing in the sketching competition.
The festival also honoured remarkable individuals through the Women of Substance wards. Hasiba, a PHD student from Afghanistan, and Vidya, a B.Tech. CSE student from Rajasthan, were recognised for their exceptional courage and accomplishments.
The grand finale of Moksh witnessed an explosion of entertainment with a diverse lineup of performances. The unforgettable cultural night by Harmony of Pines HP Police set the stage for an enthralling start to Moksh on the first day.
The excitement continued on the second night with the dynamic presence of Bollywood sensation Shahid Mallya. His soulful renditions and infectious energy ignited the atmosphere, transforming the evening into a memorable celebration of music and joy. Renowned comedian Rahul Dua had the audience in splits with his hilarious stand-up act, spreading laughter and cheer all around.
Following this was an electrifying EDM night featuring singer Aerreo, an Indian-born DJ, and a music producer hailing from London. His pulsating beats and infectious rhythms kept the crowd grooving late into the night, marking the perfect conclusion to an exhilarating festivity.
