The Chitrakoot School of Liberal Arts at Shoolini University celebrated Hindi Diwas with a poetry event titled ‘Kavi Vani’. The event brought together students, faculty, and staff, who recited poems on the theme “Colors of Poetry, with Drug-Free Life”.
The celebration was aimed to promote the Hindi language and advocate for a drug-free lifestyle through the medium of poetry.
The event commenced with a welcome address by Dr. Prakash Chand, Assistant Professor of Hindi, The “Kavi Vani”featured poets from the Chitrakoot School of Liberal Arts including Dr. Ekta Singh, Dr. Diwakar Sharma, Dr. D. D. Sharma, Dr. Purnima Bali, Hemant Kumar Sharma, and Kamal Gautam Sharma. Young poets like Vidushi Justa, Archana, Swarnim Suprakash, Nyasa Tiriya, and Aashi.
Dr. Purnima Bali, Head of the Chitrakoot School of Liberal Arts, emphasised the importance of such cultural events in promoting the Hindi language and fostering creativity among the youth. “Events like ‘Kavi Vani’ not only celebrate our linguistic heritage but also inspire individuals to lead a drug-free and meaningful life,” she added.
The program concluded with a vote of thanks by Prof. Tejnath Dhar, who expressed his gratitude to all the participants and attendees. He acknowledged the contributions of the poets, faculty members, students, and staff in making the event a grand success.
