In a significant step towards expanding its global footprint and fostering international academic partnerships, Shoolini University, successfully marked its presence in Zambia, Zimbabwe, and Ethiopia.
Several agreements were signed for exchange of faculty and students during a visit by Prof. RP Dwivedi, Director of International Affairs and Professor at the School of Electrical and Computer Science Engineering at Shoolini University to the African nations.
Shoolini University’s prominent participated in the Study India Education Fair, which garnered substantial attention in Lusaka, Zambia, and Harare, Zimbabwe. The university’s booth, showcasing its diverse educational opportunities, captivated the interest of more than 400 students for pursuing education in India.
He Prof. Dwivedi’s engaged with key institutions in Zambia and Zimbabwe, namely the University of Lusaka, Harvest University, the Catholic University, and the Women’s University of Africa. These interactions paved the way for the establishment of Memorandums of Understanding (MOUs), which facilitate seamless collaboration and robust student exchange programmes between Shoolini University and its African counterparts.
The final leg of this transformative journey took Prof. Dwivedi to Ethiopia, where he engaged in constructive discussions with two universities, an institute, and a consultant. These deliberations culminated in the signing of MOUs with all entities, signifying a momentous achievement in forging global academic partnerships.
The Office of International Affairs (OIA) at Shoolini University plays a pivotal role in facilitating these global connections. From managing partnerships and exchanges to providing comprehensive support for international students and faculty, including visa affairs, insurance, housing, and academic guidance, the OIA exemplifies the university’s commitment to nurturing global engagement.
