In a remarkable initiative aimed at nurturing the future legal luminaries, Faculty of Legal Science at Shoolini University organised a visit for BALLB and LLB students to the National Lok Adalat held at the District Court Complex, Solan. The event was coordinated by the District Legal Services Authority and provided an opportunity for students to delve into the intricacies of alternative dispute resolution and the workings of Lok Adalats.
Mr. Vineet Kumar, Assistant Professor in the Faculty of Legal Science, and a team of students ventured into the chambers of the Chief Judicial Magistrate, District and Sessions Judge, as well as Judicial Magistrates. Students also witnessed the Lok Adalat proceedings, encompassing a diverse spectrum of cases including matrimonial matters, contractual disputes, banking disagreements, and even some compoundable criminal issues.

The judges presiding over the Lok Adalat cases interacted with the students, generously sharing their insights on mediation, arbitration, and Lok Adalat proceedings. This unique opportunity provided students with practical exposure and an invaluable understanding of the legal processes beyond the classroom.
