Shoolini University and the University of Salford (UK) have joined hands to pioneer a groundbreaking educational journey for students. This Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) introduces a dynamic 2+2-degree programme, offering students a seamless transition to a prestigious bachelor’s degree from Salford University.
Dr. R. P. Dwivedi, the Director of International Affairs at Shoolini University, stated that this collaboration with the University of Salford opens new avenues for students to acquire a world-class education, equipping them with the skills and exposure to excel in today’s globalized world.
The 2+2 program is set to revolutionise the way students experience higher education, providing them with a unique opportunity to study in two distinct countries while saving on tuition fees and gaining an invaluable international perspective.
Under the Mou provision for seizing global opportunities: Students can embark on a transformative academic journey by spending their initial two years at Shoolini University in India, where they receive a strong foundation in their chosen field of study. After successful completion of the initial two years and meeting transfer criteria, students can seamlessly transfer to the University of Salford in the UK to complete the final two years of their bachelor’s degree. This pathway ensures a smooth transition without the loss of time or uncredited coursework. The programme encourages students to immerse themselves in a different culture, engage with professors and students of diverse perspectives, and develop a global mindset that sets them apart in today’s interconnected world.
Shoolini University and the University of Salford bring their unique educational, curricular, and research proficiencies to the table, enriching the academic experience and preparing students for a successful future. Graduates of this internationally focused programme receive an undergraduate degree from a foreign nation, which significantly enhances their employability in an increasingly global job. Students at the University of Salford are permitted to engage in part-time employment during their studies, gaining valuable work experience. Upon obtaining a degree from the University of Salford, students become eligible for a minimum of 2 years of work visa, opening up exciting career prospects. Moreover, this programme presents a strong likelihood of securing Permanent Residency (PR) during the work visa phase.
