Shoolini Institute of Life Sciences and Business Management (SILB), Solan and Government College, Solan today signed a Memorandum of Undertaking (MoU) to promote academic and research programmes.
The MoU was signed by the Heads of both Institutes, in the presence of Mrs. Saroj Khosla Chairperson and founder SILB and Prof. P K Khosla, Founder, SILB and Faculty members from both the Institutes.
Mrs. Saroj Khosla, Chairperson of SILB said that this initiative will benefit students and faculty members from both Institutions through student and faculty exchange initiatives. Various activities would be undertaken which will include academic participation, exchange of faculty and students for teaching especially research awareness programs. Students can avail the state–of–the-art facilities at both Institutions as well as participate in joint events such as seminars, workshops, training programmes, sports and cultural activities.
Chancellor Shoolini University Prof. Khosla, envisioned that through this MoU both these Institutes will encourage academic cooperation through research and academics in furtherance of the advancement of learning. The MoU also envisages encouraging visits of faculty from one institute to the other for the purpose of engaging in research. In addition, it will foster the exchange of publications and scholarly information. Both the Institutes will undertake collaborative research work in the fields of Life Sciences, Physical Sciences, Business Management and Social Sciences at Institutional and individual levels.
