Eight students of the College of Forestry of Dr YS Parmar University of Horticulture and Forestry, Nauni have brought laurels to the university by clearing the National Eligibility Test(NET) and getting Junior Research Fellowship (JRF).
Among the students who have cleared the University’s Grants Commission’s NET, Pradeep Puri and Mudhulika Thakur are students of the Department of Social Sciences while Panshul and Ankush represent the department of Environmental Science. Ananthakrishnan S from the Department of Soil Science and Water Management also cleared the NET Examination. Additionally, Rushal Dogra and Saurabh Thakur, students of Department of Silviculture and Agroforestry, have got the UGC Junior Research Fellowship.
Prof Rajeshwar Singh Chandel, University Vice Chancellor congratulated the students for their performances in the national level examinations. Dr Chaman Thakur, Dean College of Forestry, scientists and students also congratulated the students.
