An uncontrolled truck created a ruckus in Chhota Shimla police station area of shimla. The truck badly crushed four vehicles parked on the roadside. Two vehicles have suffered minor damage. After the collision, the driver fled from the spot along with the truck. Police is busy in searching for the truck driver. Police are examining the CCTV footage of the concerned area. However, there was no loss of life in the incident. This incident occurred at Vikasnagar on Shimla-Solan National Highway.
According to the police, around 4 am on Monday morning, an uncontrolled vehicle collided with vehicles parked on the roadside. After the incident, the driver drove the truck away from the spot. It is being told that this truck was going from Dhalli towards ISBT. When Sonu, Ajay and other vehicle owners got information about the collision between the vehicles in the early morning, they lodged a complaint with the police. Told that the collision was so severe that a car parked on the roadside got stuck on a several feet high cedar tree.
Two vehicles ran over each other. Three other vehicles also suffered heavy damage. There was no one in the vehicles parked on the roadside during the accident. According to preliminary investigation, the truck belongs to Nagaland number. It is fortunate that this accident did not happen during the day time, otherwise there could have been a huge loss of life and property in Vikas Nagar, a posh area of the city.
